Nestled in a tranquil residential area, Pousada Villa Mariana was a charming escape, easily missed if you're not paying attention while driving. The lush garden enveloping the property sets the tone for relaxation, especially with the inviting adult pool and comfortable sun loungers, perfect for unwinding after a day exploring the local colonial architecture. My room was simple yet cozy, complete with a mini-bar and a delightful little patio that came with a hammock - ideal for some sun-drenched reading while I was there with friends. Just a leisurely 15-minute stroll brought us right to the heart of Pirenópolis, where local shops and vibrant eateries beckoned us to experience the charm of this historic village.
